Privacy & data
Plain-language answers to what we use, what we show, and what we keep.
What powers the numbers
Our reports draw on thousands of live dealer listings and real sale records nationwide. The data is aggregated into market statistics before it is ever shown — you see distributions, medians, and ranges, not source records.
What we never expose
Public reports never include a VIN, stock number, dealer name, owner, exact address, city, state, ZIP, photo, or listing link. Comparable rows carry only a year, model, trim, rounded mileage, a listing-age band, and a broad region. No single dealer can make up more than a small share of any sample, and individual sale prices are never shown — only monthly aggregates.
What we collect from you
Nothing is required to run a report. If you ask us to email a report or add your dealership to the full-lot list, we store the email address and, for full-lot requests, the website you enter. There are no passwords and no accounts.
VIN lookups
When you decode a VIN, we send it to the free NHTSA decoder to read the year, make, model, and trim. We do not connect a VIN you enter to any owner or store it against your identity.
